The honest story of why we built this.

I've got a permission slip due Friday, a bill that's wrong and I keep putting off the call, and a reply I've been sitting on for something like three weeks. None of it is hard. There's just always more of it, and most days there's nobody else to hand it to.

People who run companies have had someone for exactly this job for years, somebody who books the flight and sits on hold with the insurance company and already knows they don't take meetings before ten. Billionaires don't even see this stuff, somebody handles it before it ever reaches them. William and I didn't have that kind of money, so we built our own version instead.

Ours does the same job. It books the reservation, it digs up the thing you'd rather not go looking for, and when something can only be done on the phone, it calls as your assistant and says so. It picks up how you like things done as it goes, so you stop explaining yourself twice. Honestly I'd rather do just about anything than any of that myself, which is a big part of why I wanted this built. Before it spends your money or cancels anything, it stops and asks, and that part I care about more than almost anything else we've shipped.

The rest of the site goes through what it does. What I wanted to say here is who it's for, and it's anyone running all of this by themselves, same as me, with nobody else to hand it to. It's early, and there's just two of us building it. That's on purpose. We wanted to feel what it's like being the one person handling everything, before we asked anyone else to hand us theirs.

Arshawn ArbabiCo-founder, Head of Design

Arshawn does the design. He cares about how the app feels to use, down to the small stuff, and mostly he's trying to keep it simple even as it does more.

William DormanCo-founder, CEO & CTO

William builds the engine and keeps the pipeline clean, so when the app actually does something for you it leaves a receipt you can tap and open the real thing it did.

Never without your yes

Before it sends, cancels, or spends, it stops and asks. When it acts, it leaves a viewable receipt of exactly what it did.

A memory you can read

It remembers the people in your life and how you like things done, so you stop re-explaining. Read, correct, or clear what it saved.
